The advantage of this type of collector is when it comes to storage as the grass collector will fold flat nicely. The disadvantage of this design is the cloth surround can get damaged and torn more easily than a completely solid construction. Having said that the cloth webbing material used is what you would expect from Makita, good quality that should last well if looked after.
